Saul Rasminsky - Owner / Broker
I am a Canadian originally from Toronto and I first visited Costa Rica in 2004. I was on a surf trip with friends and I realized that this is the place where I am meant to live. It has been my full-time home since 2005. Before moving to Dominical, I lived in Vancouver, BC for 10 years, where I began working in real estate. I started Dominical Real Estate in 2008 after spending several years developing and investing in land in the Dominical area. I have very extensive knowledge of the area and the real estate market and I enjoy sharing that knowledge with everyone. My goal is to help people make the best investment as well as to find the perfect home or property so they can enjoy Costa Rica as much as I do!!!!!

I was born in New Jersey and grew up in New Jersey, New Hampshire, California, and Massachusetts. I started the University at New England Conservatory of Music studying classical guitar and composition and then finished in a dual degree program with Tufts University graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Immediately after graduation, I switched to computer engineering and ultimately built my own software company which I sold to Computer Associates in 1993.
I was introduced to Costa Rica in 1989, bought some land here in 1990, and found myself returning so often that by 1996 I made one of the best decisions of my life - to move to Costa Rica permanently. I started my own real estate brokerage and spent many of the early years developing communities, building spec houses, and growing the brokerage. After 20 years of running my own real estate brokerage, I joined Saul’s in order to do what I like best – work with people to help them discover the soul of Costa Rica and then help them find their place in it.

I was born and raised in Peru’s Amazon jungle, then lived and worked in Peru, Mexico, Indonesia and scattered places in the U.S. For several years I was a licensed real estate broker and home remodeler in Texas, so when my wife and I moved to Costa Rica 6 years ago I joined a real estate company almost immediately. The best part of my work here has always been meeting new clients who become friends. I also remain fascinated by all things Costa Rica: our Tico friends, our ex-pat friends, the botany and biology of the rainforest, the challenges that build new brain pathways, the opportunity to always be learning and growing and experiencing new things, the evolving world of real estate. My goal is for each of my clients to find a home base they love, experiences they will enjoy, and friendships they will cherish.
